KIOS Bipolar is an easy to use application developed by renowned U.S. bipolar researchers to help you navigate your own unique bipolar behavior shifts with real-time expert advice. Unlike mood-tracking apps that just log data and leave you to figure out what it all means, KIOS BIPOLAR uses a proprietary bipolar assessment technology to pinpoint what direction your manic/depression symptoms are moving and then KIOS gives you simple, specific advice for staying grounded.
Answer each question to the best of your ability based on how you have felt since your last assessment.
If you have difficulty remembering, then answer how you feel at the time of the assessment.
You should try to take a bipolar depression quiz daily or every other day, and at least twice per week. KIOS will not let you take more than one assessment per day.
KIOS Bipolar was designed to be used no more than once per day in order to provide you with the the most consistent bipolar screening data.
For best results, try to take your assessment at a time of day when you have some quiet time to reflect and are not rushed or otherwise hassled.
The advice is designed to reflect your bipolar state at the time of your most recent assessment. Manic depression treatment advice from prior assessments no longer fits your "current condition."
Instability is a measure unique to KIOS and is a combination of anxiety, shifting emotions and irritability. These items play an important role in bipolar disorder. Better self-management of these symptoms can help maintain your emotional balance.
KIOS is not a replacement for the medical professionals managing your care. KIOS is not a substitute for regularly scheduled visits with psychiatrists and therapists for professional bipolar advice. KIOS is designed to enhance the care that you receive from medical professionals and includes a downloadable report tracking bipolar disorder symptoms, that can be shared with your treatment providers.
